Lecture Recording Phase 2

Media Hopper Replay is being extended to over 250 teaching spaces for the 2018/19 teaching year following a very successful first year of operation. Around 43% of courses have used the service to date and 18,000 students have logged in viewing half a million hours of video in total. Average minutes viewed per recording signals that lectures are seldom being watched back in their entirety. Rather, students are selecting what they view in support of their learning needs. All Schools are now using lecture recording, some have chosen to go fully opt-out and record most of their lectures, and others are taking a more cautious approach. Feedback from students is very positive.

Comprehensive online guides and videos are available to support those who are new to lecture recording, and lots of classroom courses continue to run. Find out more by visiting the Media Hopper Replay website.
